action

Confusions and confusions of love in a school community in the still young Federal Republic of Germany. Here there is a fair regime, determined by clear structures, under the direction of the mild and experienced senior director Dr. Berger. One day the hardworking Regine Albing is accepted as the only girl in the primary school. Due to her level of knowledge, she is way ahead of her age group. At the new school, Regine meets the much older teacher Dr. Crusius. For both of them it is an unexpected reunion, because Regine and Crusius already know each other from a vacation together. At that time there was a short but violent liaison, which Crusius does not want to continue because of his responsibility, which he feels as a teacher, even if he still loves the girl.

The inexperienced student Jürgen Sengebusch also fell in love with the pretty girl, but she is totally fixated on her teacher. A catastrophe threatens when Crusius, Regine and Jürgen get in each other's way: Crusius catches Sengebusch trying to steal the examination papers for the upcoming Abitur. The student council then acts as intended and reports the student. Deeply disappointed by this denunciation, Regine turns away from her beloved teacher for the time being. The understanding director Dr. Berger, to smooth things over in such a way that no one emerges unscathed from the whole affair.
