Remo Albertini

Remo Albertini (born September 17, 1920 in Borgo Sacco , † September 15, 2005 in Rovereto ) was an Italian politician.

In 1946 Albertini was elected mayor of Terragnolo , and in 1950 of Rovereto he was elected mayor. In 1952 he was able to win a mandate for the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol on the list of Democrazia Cristiana . From 1952 to 1956 he was governor of Trentino , which at that time had very few competencies. During these years Albertini, who had a laureate in education , and his government proposed the establishment of a university institution in Trento - an idea that was later taken up with success by Bruno Kessler . From 1956 to 1958 and from 1960 to 1962 he was president of the regional council (from 1958 to 1960 as vice-president), from 1962 to 1968, the year he left the regional council, he served in the regional government as assessor for industry. During Albertini's tenure, significant advances were made in the industrial development of Trentino, particularly in Rovereto.
