Giorgio Grigolli

Giorgio Grigolli (born December 21, 1927 in Mori ; † November 8, 2016 in Trento ) was an Italian politician .

Life

Grigolli finished his law studies at the University of Bologna in 1952 , in the same year he started working for the Trento daily newspaper l'Adige .

In 1958 Grigolli was appointed secretary of the Christian Democrats in Trentino , in 1964 he was appointed as a deputy in the Regional Trentino-Alto Adige at the same time in and Trentino parliament elected. From 1967 he was President of the Region of the Regional Government of Trentino-South Tyrol , a position he held until 1973.

In the same year he became regional secretary of the DC, this post he held until the dissolution of the party in 1993. In 1974 Grigolli replaced Bruno Kessler and was governor of Trentino until 1979, until 1983 he was still a member of the regional council.
