Rhadereistedt ( Low German paddy rice ) is a district of the municipality of Rhade in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme) in Lower Saxony .

Geography and transport links

Rhadereistedt is located southeast of Rhade on the Zevener Geest . To the east of Rhadereistedt the Hummbeek flows into the Rummeldeisbeek . Rhadereistedt to include the local situation Balkenwede .

Neighboring towns are Rockstedt and Godenstedt in the northeast, Badeühlen and Ostereistedt in the southeast, Kirchtimke in the south, Hepstedt and Breddorf in the southwest, Hanstedt in the west and Rhade in the northwest.

State road 122 runs through the village, leading in the north-west via Rhade to Gnarrenburg to federal road 74 and in the south via Ostereistedt and Badühlen to Zeven to federal road 71 . In addition, a side road leads via Balkenwede to Kirchtimke. Rhadereistedt used to have a stop on the Wilstedt – Tostedt railway, which was only operated as freight . The station was about 2 km south of the village. Passenger traffic took place here from 1917 to 1964.

Rhadereistedt is evangelical-Lutheran and belongs to the parish of the Gallus Church in Rhade.

For the (few) Catholics is Christ the King Church in Zeven responsible, since 1 November 2006 parish Corpus Christi in Rotenburg (Wümme) belongs.

The site has its own cemetery with a small chapel and a war memorial.

Culture

Club life

In addition to the volunteer fire brigade founded on January 18, 1952, there is also a rifle club in Rhadereistedt . The first shooting club was founded together with Rhade as the shooting club Rhade and the surrounding area . In 1922, Rhadereistedt separated in a dispute from Rhade and founded his own shooting club.
