Rheingau Music Prize
The Rheingau Music Prize was initiated in 1994 by the Rheingau Music Festival and has been awarded annually since then. The award is given to already renowned musicians, composers, musicologists or musical institutions for their previous work. It is endowed with 10,000 euros, which are made available by the Hessian Ministry for Science and Art .
