Walter Renneisen
Walter Renneisen (born March 3, 1940 in Mainz ) is a German actor.
biography
Walter Renneisen grew up in Raunheim, Hesse . After graduating from the Immanuel Kant School in Rüsselsheim in 1960, Renneisen studied theater , German and philosophy at the Universities of Cologne and Mainz from 1960 to 1964 . From 1964 to 1967 he attended the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum . After graduating there he received engagements at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , the Theater Dortmund and the Staatstheater Darmstadt, among others .
Since 1977 he has worked as a freelance actor for the Stuttgart State Theater , the Bonn Theater , the German Theater , the Darmstadt State Theater and various open-air theaters . He can often be seen on television in series such as Tatort , Der Alte , Derrick , Ein Fall für Zwei and Siska . Since 1995 he has been touring with his own theater productions. He is also a very busy radio play speaker and has appeared in over 800 radio plays.
Walter Renneisen is married and has two daughters and two sons. He is the uncle of British actress Alex Kingston . Renneisen lives in Bensheim .
