Rich Bronilla (born July 15, 1975 in Mississauga , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player (defender) who currently plays for the HKm Zvolen in the Slovak Extra League.

Career

Bronilla began his career in the 1992/93 season with the Ottawa 67’s in the Ontario Hockey League , for which he went on the ice until the 1996/97 season before moving to the Hampton Roads Admirals in the East Coast Hockey League that same year .

In the years from 1996 to 1998 he played at Huntington Blizzard in the ECHL, but also played three games for the Fort Wayne Komets in the International Hockey League during the season . In the 1998/99 season Bronilla had his first two appearances in the AHL with the Lowell Lock Monsters and his last stop in North America were the Jacksonville Lizard Kings in the 1999/00 season.

In the period between 2000 and 2003 he played with the London Knights in the Ice Hockey Superleague in Britain before the 2003-04 season for REV Bremerhaven in the league changed, with his promotion to the 2. Bundesliga succeeded and where he also spent the 2004/05 season.

The EHC Munich secured Bronillas services for the 2005/06 season , where he could not convince. Between the 2006/07 season and the 2008/09 season Bronilla played with the Landshut Cannibals before he moved to the Black Wings Linz in the EBEL . In 2011 the defender moved to the Slovak extra league .
