Richard A. Harris

Richard A. Harris is an American film editor .

Life

Richard A. Harris graduated from the University of Southern California's USC School of Cinematic Arts in 1956 . After editing the film The Bamboo Saucer for the first time as editor-in-chief in 1968 , then still under the name Richard Harris , Harris can look back on a career in film editing that spanned more than 40 years . He edited three films for James Cameron and was therefore nominated for two Academy Awards. After there was only one nomination for Terminator 2 - Reckoning Day , he won it for Titanic in 1998 . True Lies was the only one of the three films that it was not nominated for.
