Richard Schroeder (politician)

Richard Wilhelm Emil Schroeder (born March 30, 1856 in Mewegen , † April 20, 1908 in Stargard ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a teacher, Schroeder studied law and camera science in Jena , Leipzig , Heidelberg and Greifswald after attending the Marienstiftsgymnasium in Stettin . During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Jena fraternity in 1876 and of the Allemannia Heidelberg fraternity in 1877 . After exams and legal clerkship he became assessor in Stettin and later deputy lawyer of the city of Demmin . In 1894 he became Lord Mayor of Stargard.
