Rick Sutherland
Rick Sutherland (born September 15, 1956 ) is a former American racing driver .
Career
Rick Sutherland was best known as a sports car driver in the USA. From 1994 he regularly drove sports car and endurance races and competed in all major races such as the 24-hour race in Daytona and the 12-hour race in Sebring . He competed in races for the IMSA series, the American Le Mans Series and the Grand-Am Sports Car Series . The American came to Europe to take part in the Le Mans 24-hour race . In 2004 he won the LMP2 class there for Intersport Racing. A year later he was third in this class on a Courage C65 from Paul Belmondo's racing team .
