Didier de Radiguès (born March 27, 1958 in Leuven , Flanders , Belgium ) is a Belgian motorcycle and automobile racing driver . He is the younger brother of Patrick de Radiguès .

Career

Radiguès began his career as a motorcycle racer. For the 1988 season he switched to the Yamaha -Marlboro team, which was led by Giacomo Agostini , replacing Eddie Lawson . As a motorcycle racer, he won four Grand Prix and was on the podium 14 times. His greatest success was the vice world champion title in 1982 in the class up to 350 cm³ behind Toni Mang .

In 1994 de Radiguès switched to racing cars and in 1998 won the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race in a BMW . In 2001 he won the American Le Mans Series in the LMP 675 class .

Today he also runs a motorcycle racing school.
