Riechedly Bazoer (born October 12, 1996 in Utrecht , Netherlands ) is a Dutch football player . He is under contract with Vitesse Arnhem .

Career

Bazoer started playing football at USV Elinkwijk , a sports club from Utrecht, and at the age of ten joined the youth department of PSV Eindhoven and at the age of 16 that of Ajax Amsterdam . In 2013 he moved up to the second team Jong Ajax and played 21 point games in the Eerste Divisie , the second highest Dutch division , in the 2013/14 season . He made his senior debut on August 5, 2013 (1st matchday) in a 2-0 home win against SC Telstar . In the following season he completed 13 point games. For the 2014/15 season he signed the professional team from Ajax Amsterdam, for which he played 51 league games in two seasons.

On January 1, 2017, Bazoer moved to the Bundesliga for VfL Wolfsburg , where he received a contract that ran until June 30, 2021. At Wolfsburg, he was one of the regular players in the second half of the 2016/17 season and achieved relegation with the team. In the following season he moved into the second tier and was used in only 13 of 34 match days; As in the previous season, VfL Wolfsburg managed to stay up through relegation. Bazoer spent the first half of the 2018/19 season on loan at FC Porto and only made two appearances for the second team. During the winter break, the loan contract with the Portuguese was terminated prematurely and the midfielder moved to his hometown for FC Utrecht for the second half of the season .

In July 2019, Bazoer finally left VfL Wolfsburg and returned to Vitesse Arnheim in the Netherlands . He signed a contract with the Arnhem team that runs until 2022.

National team

Bazoer had played international matches for the national teams of the U-17, U-19 and U-21 age groups from 2012 to 2015 , before he played for the first time on November 13, 2015 in the senior national team , who beat them 3-2 in Cardiff Wales won a test international.
