The Riedried nature reserve is located in the Germersheim district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 25 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1984 , extends southwest of the city of Wörth am Rhein . The district road K 19 runs not far to the west. The B 9 runs to the west and the A 65 to the northeast.
Protective purpose is to preserve the natural alder break and embedded therein fen and a meadow as the location of rare plants and plant communities and habitats linked to this rare endangered in their stock animals and scientific reasons.
