Hinde was a Dutch manufacturer of bicycles , motorcycles and automobiles .
Company history
The company Rijwiel- en Machinefabriek de Hinde in Amsterdam began producing bicycles in 1888 and later motorcycles. From 1899 onwards, Van Gink automobiles were produced under the direction of the designer. The cars were mainly marketed as Hinde, occasionally as Van Gink. In 1900 automobile production was stopped. Motorcycles were manufactured until 1938.
Automobiles
Only one model was produced, it was a small car . It was powered by two air-cooled motors, which together delivered an output of 4.5 hp . The body offered space for four people on two bench seats that were mounted facing the direction of travel. The purchase price was 2500 guilders .
