WJ Stokvis was a Dutch importer and manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company from Arnhem imported automobiles to the Netherlands . Between 1900 and 1901 a few copies of their own model were also made.

The company imported vehicles from De Dion-Bouton , Daimler Motor Company and Panhard & Levassor and sold them as Stokvis-Dion Voiturettes , Stokvis-Daimler Rijtuigen and Stokvis-Panhard Rijtuigen .

Stokvis motorets

The only own model called Stokvis Motorette was a small car . It was powered by a single-cylinder De Dion-Bouton engine with 3½ hp . The design-related maximum speed was given as 35 km / h. The price was 1900 Dutch guilders for the three-seater face-to-face version. There was also a four-seater tonneau .
