BA Jansen
BA Jansen was a Dutch manufacturer and importer of bicycles , motorcycles and automobiles .
Company history
The company from 's-Hertogenbosch was founded in 1883. The import of bicycles began. This was followed by the production of its own bicycles, which were marketed as Yankee style . In 1898 the import of vehicles from De Dion-Bouton was added, later also Cambier . The production of own motorcycles and automobiles only ran from 1898 to 1901. The brand names were both Jansen and De Toerist .
Automobiles
One model was a three-wheeler and had a single cylinder De Dion-Bouton engine with 3½ hp . There was also a four-wheeled Voiturette with a front engine from De Dion-Bouton and 3½ HP, later 4½ HP.
