Burton Car Company BV is a Dutch manufacturer of automobiles from Zutphen .

Burton introduces sports cars whose mechanics come from the French Citroën 2CV . The Burton is an open, classic-looking sports car on the chassis of the "duck" with a modern body made of GRP . The car is built as an open two-seater, as a coupé with wing doors , or with a convertible top made to order.

At the end of 1998, Iwan and Dimitri Goebel began designing the Burton, which they then called "Hunter". They were inspired by famous sports cars such as Bugatti , Jaguar , Talbot-Lago , Delahaye and Alfa Romeo . After 18 months, the prototype was ready and on February 9, 2000 the first body was removed from the mold. In May 2000, the Burton was presented to Dutch customers.

Burton also imports and distributes Lomax automobiles.
