NV Netam , short for Nederlandsche Tank, Apparaten en Machinefabriek , was a Dutch manufacturer of trailers , superstructures for commercial vehicles and, for a short time, automobiles .
Company history
The company from Rotterdam manufactured trailers and bodies for commercial vehicles from 1932. During the Second World War , five to twelve complete vehicles were built between 1940 and 1942. In 2002 the company went bankrupt .
Automobiles
The vehicles, called Netam L-Car, were equipped with an electric motor from Smit-Slikkerveer. The engine output was 3.6 hp . The design-related maximum speed was specified as 30 km / h, and the range as 50 km. Most of the vehicles were delivery vans with a payload of 750 kg . There was also a copy of the passenger car . This was a two-door, four-seat sedan .
