The company from Groningen started producing automobiles in 1898 under the direction of Johannes van Dam junior. The brand name was Groninger . Production ended in 1899 or 1900. On June 1, 1900 the bankruptcy took place .
vehicles
The company exhibited two vehicles at the first Dutch Motor Show in 1899. Self-developed water-cooled motors with 2½ HP and 4 HP provided the drive . These were the first Dutch automobiles with a Dutch engine. The weight was 800 kg, the design-related top speed of the stronger model 25 km / h. The Dos-à-dos body shape offered space for four people who sat back to back. The company again exhibited vehicles at an industrial show in Amsterdam in 1899. Then two more buses were built for Hollandsche Automobiel Maatschappij in Delft .
