VDL Konings BV is a Dutch mechanical engineering company.
Company history
The company was founded in Swalmen in 1873 . Initially, machines, industrial machines and carousels were created . In 1901 the production of automobiles began. In 1906 automobile production ended after 6 copies were made. The company still exists today.
vehicles
Ferdinand Anderheggen from Amsterdam , who in turn produced automobiles between 1901 and 1902 and marketed them as Anderheggen , designed the vehicles for Konings. The built-in engine came from Abeille . One of the vehicles was a delivery van with a payload of 1000 kg. In 1932 a two-engine truck was built as an experiment .
