Ring free for love (original title: Flesh , alternatively: meat ) is a drama by the American film director John Ford from 1932.

action

Laura, a young attractive American woman , is released from a German prison because of her pregnancy . However, her crony and lover Nik has to stay in prison. Laura meets the waiter and wrestler Polakai in a beer garden . Quick love this in the beautiful Laura, she takes with her and makes her a marriage proposal . To make her happy, he releases Nik, who he believes is Laura's brother, from prison. When Laura tells Nik about her pregnancy, he disappears to America . Despite her love for Nik, Laura agrees to marry Polakai. When the Hermanns, who own the beer garden in which Polakai works, decide to move to America, Polakai, Laura and the child who has now been born go with them.

In America, Nik offers to manage Polakai wrestling. When Polakai realizes that most wrestlers in America are corrupt and almost all fights are denied, he decides to give up the wrestling, but then gives in to Laura's and Nik's desire to continue wrestling because of the money. When Polakai is completely drunk on the day of the championship fight, Nik blames Laura and beats her. Polakai watched the scene and kills Nik. Then he surprisingly wins the championship, but is arrested for murder immediately afterwards.

Laura visits Polakai in prison, wants to "free him from himself" by going away. Polakai asks her to stay because he loves her.
