Art expert Georgina Clios' relaxed, luxury life comes to a sudden end when her millionaire husband Constantine is killed in an inexplicable explosion on the huge yacht of a Russian oligarch and arms dealer. Georgina quickly suspects that there was more to the explosion than an accident. In search of the true background of the tragedy, she looks behind the glittering curtain of luxury life on the French Riviera and discovers an abyss of lies, greed and crime. In order to protect the legendary family estate and her family, Georgina repeatedly puts herself in danger and has to play the risky game. For them, too, it is about pure survival.

In German-speaking countries, Riviera received a predominantly positive media response.
