Rob Brown (born April 9, 1981 in Brockville , Ontario ) is a German - Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with EC Peiting in the ice hockey league since 2018 .

Career

Rob Brown began his career as an ice hockey player at Colgate University , which he attended from 2000 to 2004 and for whose ice hockey team he played parallel in ECAC hockey . The defender then went to Germany, where he played for EC Peiting from the third-class ice hockey league for two years , before making his professional ice hockey debut for EV Landsberg from the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga in the 2006/07 season . From 2007 to 2009 he ran for the second division club SC Riessersee and then for a year for their league rivals Dresdner Eislöwen . In the summer of 2010 he moved again within the 2nd Bundesliga, this time to ESV Kaufbeuren . He left this during the 2011/12 season when he was signed by the Augsburg Panthers from the German Ice Hockey League at the end of January 2012 , for which he played until 2014.

He has been under contract with Schwenninger Wild Wings since the 2014/15 season and played in 88 DEL games until 2016. In May 2016 he returned to the second division when he was signed by the Bietigheim Steelers from the DEL2 .
