Robert Allan Floyd

Robert Floyd , also Rob Floyd , Robert Allan Floyd or Robert Andrew Floyd , (born May 6, 1968 in Lakeland , Florida ) is an American actor .

Life

Robert Floyd studied acting at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan , New York , where he also earned his first spurs as an actor. Floyd has appeared in various off-Broadway shows and has appeared in a few minor films, none of which has attracted him much attention. After living in New York for a while, he decided to move to Los Angeles because it was much easier to get roles on television there. He has guest roles in Alone Against the Future , The Palm Beach Duo, and Law & Order .

In 1998 he worked in Roland Emmerich's film Godzilla and was allowed to take action against the gigantic lizard as one of the Apache helicopter pilots. Like so many actors, Floyd has starred in a few soap operas . He has had recurring roles in All My Children and The City . As Mallory in the 5th season of Sliders , he first became known to a larger audience in 1999. He was also seen in the 1999 television film The Darwin Project and the feature film Cold Hearts .

Floyd is the founder of the Cocktail Theater and President of RxLiquidChef.
