Robert Llanos

Robert Anthony Llanos (born February 2, 1958 in Port of Spain , Trinidad and Tobago ) is a Trinidadian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of St. John's-Basseterre .

Life

Robert Llanos received on 23 June 1991, the sacrament of Holy Orders . From 2011 to 2013 he was Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Port of Spain .

On 13 July 2013 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Casae Nigrae and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Port of Spain . The Archbishop of Port of Spain, Joseph Everard Harris CSSp , donated him episcopal ordination on September 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Georgetown , Francis Dean Alleyne OSB , and the Bishop of Bridgetown , Charles Jason Gordon .

During the vacancy in the diocese of St. John's-Basseterre he was Apostolic Administrator since 2016 . Pope Francis appointed him Diocesan Bishop of St. John's-Basseterre on December 18, 2018 . The inauguration took place on February 3, 2019.
