Robert Schramm (born December 16, 1989 in Bad Saarow-Pieskow ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

After Schramm tried his hand at football at a young age , supported by his mother, he quickly found volleyball . From 2003 to 2006 he played for VC Storkow in his hometown . When he graduated from a Berlin sports school (Coubertin-Gymnasium) from 2006 to 2009, he played for two years for the Berlin TSC and then moved to the regional league at TKC Wriezen . In 2009 Schramm went to the USA on a scholarship , where he played for the team at Warner University from Lake Wales ( Polk County , Florida). There he took third place at the National Championships in 2012 and 2013 with his team. In the first year he won the Premier League in the USA with his team. He was also successful with the Florida's selection team at the Men's Open tournament. Schramm was named Player of the Year 2013 in the National Division. He then returned to Germany and was signed by Bundesliga club VC Dresden as a middle blocker. In 2014 Schramm switched to league competitor TV Bühl . After a season with Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen , Schramm has been playing for second division TSV Giesen since 2017 .

Others

Schramm's mother Monika is also a volleyball player and has played for many years at VC Storkow and SpVgg Storkow- Lindenberg .
