Anton "Toni" Lukas Menner (born July 25, 1994 in Graz ) is an Austrian national volleyball player .

Career

Menner started playing volleyball at the age of ten. From 2012 to 2015 he played at UVC Graz . In 2014, the outside attacker made his debut for the Austrian national team . With Graz he won the Austrian Cup in 2015. After that he was active for one season each at Union Volleyball Waldviertel and SK Posojilnica Aich / Dob . In the 2017/18 season he played for the Slovak club SPU Bystrina Nitra . He then moved to VK Ostrava in the Czech Republic . In 2019 Menner was signed by the German Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen . In the same year he took part in the European Championship with Austria .

Menner also played beach volleyball with the juniors . In 2011 he took part in the Junior World Championships in Umag with Christoph Dressler and finished ninth with Florian Ertl in the U18 European Championships in Vilnius . In 2012 he came in 13th place with Martin Ermacora at the U20 European Championship in Hartberg . At the same competition in 2013, he finished fifth with Benedikt Kattner .
