Martin Ermacora (born April 11, 1994 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian beach volleyball player .

Career

Ermacora began at Hypo Tirol Innsbruck with the volleyball , but then moved early to volleyball. In 2011 he finished fifth with Benedikt Kattner at the U18 European Championship in Vilnius . With Lukas Peter Stranger , he reached fourth place at the U19 World Cup in Larnaka in 2012 . In the same year he came in 13th place with Anton Menner at the U20 European Championship in Hartberg . In 2014 he again achieved some top ten results with Stranger on the national tour and a ninth place at the U21 World Cup in Larnaka.

In 2015 Ermacora formed a duo with Moritz Pristauz . At the U22 European Championship in Macedo de Cavaleiros , Ermacora / Pristauz finished fifth. They then took part in a tournament of the FIVB World Tour at the Xiamen Open for the first time and came in ninth immediately in the top ten. In 2016 they completed their first Grand Slam tournament in Rio de Janeiro . Ermacora temporarily played with Tobias Winter and won the national tournament in Podersdorf with him . At the CEV satellite tournament in Baden , Ermacora / Pristauz were reunited and finished seventh, while they stayed in the back of the world tour. At the major in Klagenfurt they came in 17th place as well as at the CEV Masters in Jūrmala . The same result came in 2017 at the three-star tournament in Xiamen. For the 2017 World Cup in Vienna , they received a wild card after being selected by the Austrian volleyball association .
