Robert Seeliger

Robert Seeliger (born October 13, 1966 in Prince George , Canada ) is a Canadian television actor who also works in Germany .

Life

He was born the son of a German and a Scot ; the parents were farmers . After his parents separated, however, he and his brother grew up with his father, which enabled him to become independent at an early age.

He has appeared in films such as Miss Texas and Deadly Betrayal, among others. He took on a bigger role in the television series Paradise Falls and met his partner Natalia Wörner while filming Miss Texas , with whom he survived the tsunami disaster in Khao Lak at Christmas 2004 . Seeliger and Wörner were married in January 2006. In April 2006 their son was born. In 2008 the marriage was divorced.

In April 2010, he fell while playing with his son on the trampoline . He broke a cervical vertebra and had to undergo emergency surgery.

Seeliger was in the 2010 political thriller The Ghost Writer by Roman Polanski and 2011 at the TV -Zweiteiler Hindenburg of director Philipp Kadelbach to see. He also played in a number of German television series such as Der Kommissar und das Meer , SOKO Leipzig , Kreuzfahrt ins Glück , Einsatz in Hamburg , SOKO Stuttgart or the film adaptations of Utta Danella , Inga Lindström and Rosamunde Pilcher .

In 2015 he was in the remake of The Trapp Family - A Life for Music as Marcus von Trapp in front of the camera.
