Roberts Slotiņš (born July 21, 1991 in Cēsis ) is a Latvian biathlete and former cross-country skier .

Roberts Slotiņš starts for SS Arkādija . He competed in his first international cross-country skiing races in 2006 and 2007 in FIS races , and since 2009 in races in the Scandinavian Cup . In 2009 he took part in the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2009 in Szczyrk and achieved 17th place in the freestyle sprint as the best placement. A year later he was at the Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten 92nd over 10-kilometer classic and 19th in the relay race. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , he failed in the freestyle sprint as 90th in qualification. At the Latvian Championships in 2011 Slotiņš won the bronze medal over the 10-kilometer classic behind Morten Priks and Arvis Liepiņš, and the silver medal over 10-kilometer freestyle behind Jānis Paipals . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Fiemme Valley , he finished neither the skiathlon nor the 15-kilometer freestyle race.

For the 2014/15 season , Slotiņš switched to biathlon. In Beitostølen he made his debut in the IBU Cup at the beginning of the season . He finished his first sprint races as 99th and 94th. Shortly afterwards, he improved his personal best in Obertilliach to 50th place. At the beginning of the year he competed in his first races in the World Cup in Oberhof , in which he reached positions 18 in the relay and 85 in the sprint. In Otepää he took part in the 2015 European Biathlon Championships a little later and was 75th of the individual, 83rd of the sprint and with Aleksandrs Patrijuks , Daumants Lusa and Toms Praulītis 16th in the lapped relay.
