Skirt Dog (in Chinese :摇滚藏獒) is a 2016 he animated film by Ash Brannon , the Chinese on the graphic novel Tibetan rock Dog Zheng June based.

The film is a co-production between the Chinese Huayi Brothers and the American Mandoo Pictures. The vocal line-up includes Luke Wilson , Eddie Izzard , JK Simmons , Lewis Black , Kenan Thompson , Mae Whitman , Jorge Garcia , Matt Dillon and Sam Elliott .

It seems to be a sign from God when suddenly a radio falls from the sky and lands right in the paws of the little Tibetan dog Bodi, who is supposed to protect the sheep in his village from hungry wolves. He promptly sees the incident as a sign and feels confirmed that he is finally pursuing his dream of becoming a great rock star. So he leaves his home and embarks on an adventurous journey that sets in motion a series of unforeseen events ...
