Rockhead was a Canadian hard rock band founded by Bob Rock in 1988 . She released her only album, Rockhead , in 1993 .

history

Rock formed the group in 1988 with drummer Chris Taylor, bassist Jamey Kosh and singer Steve Jack. Known mainly as a producer ( Mötley Crüe , Queen , Skid Row , Bon Jovi , Metallica ) rock was the guitarist of the group that first released the single Heartland .

The self-titled debut album was released in January 1993, the songwriting and recording had Billy Duffy from The Cult , as well as Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora from Bon Jovi participated. Bed of Roses and Chelsea Rose were released as further singles , and the band accompanied Bon Jovi as support on their Keep the Faith tour.

Album sales remained below expectations despite positive reviews from the trade press, among other things because grunge revolutionized rock music and the sound of bands like Rockhead was no longer popular. The band broke up and Rock went back to producing.
