Roger Dumas (born May 9, 1932 in Annonay , Ardèche , France ; † July 2, 2016 in Paris ) was a French actor and songwriter .

Life

Roger Dumas made his screen debut alongside Nadine Basile , Estella Blain and Georges Chamarat in the drama Wilde Frucht, published in 1954 and directed by Hervé Bromberger . Since then he has played on French theater stages and on television and film productions. Dumas received three nominations for the Molière Theater Prize , namely in 1994, 2003 and 2006 each for Best Supporting Actor , whereby he received the prize in 2006 as an award.

Roger Dumas also wrote lyrics in parallel to his acting career. He wrote several songs for Chantal Goya , Richard Anthony , Johnny Hallyday , Sylvie Vartan and Danièle Graule .
