Rohrbach is a district of the Reichelsheim community in the Odenwaldkreis in southern Hesse .

geography

The Waldhufendorf is located in the granite area of the Odenwald in the southern part and is surrounded by a lot of forest.

history

Rohrbach was first mentioned in a document in 1321. In the Middle Ages, manganese iron ore was mined in the area around the village and also smelted in the village.

Territorial reform

On December 31, 1971, Rohrbach was incorporated into the municipality of Reichelsheim i. Incorporated.
