Roland Richard Guaves Müller (born March 2, 1988 in Cologne ) is a Filipino football player who plays on the position of goalkeeper .

Career

Roland Müller played in his youth for 1. FC Köln and also played there for the B-youth in the top division, the regional league and for the A-youth in the U-19-Bundesliga (25 games). In the summer of 2007 he made the jump from the A-youth to the second team . In the 2007/08 season he was used nine times in the Oberliga Nordrhein , was third with 1. FC Köln II and was promoted to the Regionalliga West . There Müller established himself as a regular goalkeeper.

After two seasons and 55 appearances in the regional league, Müller moved to the second division club MSV Duisburg , with whom he signed a contract until mid-2013. National team

In the summer of 2011, Müller decided to play for the national team of the Philippines , his mother Maria's country of origin. There he was used in all games under coach Michael Weiß and finished second. However, the games were declared senior team games by FIFA . Thus, Müller had made his debut for the national team on September 30, 2011 in the game against Hong Kong (3: 3). There he played all five preliminary round matches with the U-23, but was bottom of the table with only one win and four losses.
