The Rolava (German: Rohlau ) is a left tributary of the Eger (Czech. Ohře ) in the north-west of the Czech Republic .
course
It rises in the Bohemian Ore Mountains about two km north of the village Rolava near the border with Saxony on Jeřábí vrch ( pole height , 965 m nm). To the north of its source is the Großer Kranichsee high moor , some of which the Rolava absorbs water. In its course in predominantly south-east of the river flows through the deserted village Chaloupky and takes shortly after that of deer stand ( Jelení coming) Blackwater on. Then the Rohlau flows through Neuhammer ( Nové Hamry ), the former district town of Neudek ( Nejdek ) and the towns of Nová Role and Stará Role, which are known for their porcelain factories . In Karlovy Vary it flows into the Eger to the west of the town center.
