Career

Ronny Arendt comes from the offspring of ES Weißwasser , for whom he made his Bundesliga debut in the 1998/99 season . After two more years in Germany's second division for Iserlohn and Weißwasser, the winger moved to the Berlin Capitals in the German Ice Hockey League . Due to the bankruptcy of the Capitals in the summer of 2002, the left-handed shooter soon had to look for a new club, which he was finally able to find with the Augsburg Panthers . After the Panthers had missed the play-offs in the 2003/04 season , Arendt was loaned to the Ours de Villard-de-Lans from the French Ligue Magnus for the finals and then returned to Bavaria.

Ronny Arendt moved in the summer of 2005 after three seasons from the Augsburg Panthers to the Mannheimer Adlers , with whom the robust attacker was able to win the German Ice Hockey Cup and the German Championship after a few initial difficulties in the 2006/07 season . In January 2011 he extended his contract with Adler Mannheim until 2013.

In 2013 he renewed his contract with the Eagles and won another championship with the team in 2015.

After the 2016/17 season he ended his career after 689 DEL games for the Adler, in which he collected 283 points scorer.

International

In 2004/05 Ronny Arendt completed 15 games for the German national team . He also took part in the 1999 Junior B World Cup .
