Rosana Simón Álamo (born July 11, 1989 in Los Llanos de Aridane ) is a Spanish Taekwondoin . It starts in the heavyweight division over 73 kilograms.

Simón fought her first international title fights in 2005. In Baku she was junior European champion, she also took part in the European championship for the first time in Riga and the world championship in Madrid . In the following year, she finally won her first medal in the adult category at the European Championships in Bonn with bronze.

Simón qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing . In the weight class over 67 kilograms, however, she was eliminated from Karolina Kedzierska in her opening fight . She was successful at the 2009 World Championships in Copenhagen and the 2010 European Championships in Saint Petersburg , where she won her first World Cup and European Championship titles with final victories against Liu Rui and Anne-Caroline Graffe . Simón was able to win further medals with bronze at the 2011 World Championships in Gyeongju and silver at the 2012 European Championships in Manchester .
