On the edge of the atoll are the tourist islands Kuramathi in the south and Veligandu in the northeast, the local island Rasdhoo in the southeast and the two small uninhabited islands Madivaru and Madivaru-Finolhu in the east.
The three channels: North Channel , Rasdhoo Channel and Madivaru Channel allow water to be exchanged between the outer reef and the lagoon .
The Rasdhoo Atoll is also served by Maldivian Air Taxi and can therefore be reached from the airport in 20 minutes.
Administratively, the atoll belongs to the administrative atoll (administrative area) Alif Alif .
