Rudawka Rymanowska is a settlement in the Rymanów Commune in the Krośnieński Powiat in Poland .
geography
The place is located in the extreme southeast of Poland, on the Wisłok in the Forest Carpathians , surrounded by the Bukowica ridge and the Low Beskids . It is located 13 kilometers southwest of the Rymanów municipality and 20 kilometers west of the district town of Krosno in a hilly, wooded area, 22 km from Sanok in the direction of Tsarszyn. The place is 366 to 450 m above sea level. M. and is known as the location of one of the Polish Hutsul competition horses and through agricultural exhibitions with many Simmental cattle.
State road 28 runs south of the exhibition site near Rudawka .
history
The place was first mentioned in a document around 1464. In 1918 Rudawka was renamed Rudawka Rymanowska. In the past, oil was also extracted in the mines. For a long time, mostly Ukrainians lived here , who were resettled after the Second World War as part of the Vistula campaign .

The European long-distance hiking trail E8 leads through the region . The route from Iwonicz-Zdrój leads via Rudawka Rymanowska, Puławy, Kiczera (640 m), Zruban (776 m), Smokowiska (761 m), Wilcze Budy ( Wolf houses, 759 m), Tokarnia (778 m), Kamien ( "Stein", 717 m) and the Komańcza to Wołosate on the Bieszczady Mountains .
