The Gmina Rymanów is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Krośnieński of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 3770 inhabitants (2016).
geography
The municipality is located in the Lower Beskids , about 60 km south of Rzeszów and ten kilometers south of the district town of Krosno . The Tabor River, a tributary of the Wisłok, flows through the municipality and its main town .
The municipality has an area of 165.8 km², 54 percent of which is used for agriculture and 34 percent for forestry.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Krosno Voivodeship .
Partnerships
Rymanów maintains a city partnership with the Ukrainian city of Novovolynsk .

The city and its districts are part of the urban and rural community (gmina miejsko-wiejska):
Rymanów No. 1 and No. 2 and the Rymanów-Zdrój Spa .
The rural area of the municipality is divided into the following villages with school boards (sołectwa):
Bałucianka, Bzianka, Deszno, Głębokie, Klimkówka , Królik Polski , Ladzin, Łazy, Milcza, Posada Górna, Puławy , Sieniawa, Wisłoczek , Wróblik Królewski , Wróblik Szlachecki and Zmysłówka.
There are also the Puławy and Rudawka Rymanowska settlements .
education
There are seven school centers (Zespół Szkół), two other primary schools (szkoła podstawowa) and a general high school (liceum ogólnokształcące) in the municipality .
