Rudolf Bachmann (politician)

Rudolf Bachmann (born August 10, 1925 in Westheim (Middle Franconia) , † March 27, 1998 in Gunzenhausen ) was a German politician ( CSU ). He started out as a farmer with his wife Rosa, with whom he had four children (Wolfgang, Eberhard, Christa, Elisabeth).

Life

From 1943 to 1946 Rudolf Bachmann did military service and was taken prisoner of war . From 1955 he took over the task of the computer (today's banker ) in Westheim, after having worked in the Raiffeisenkasse from a young age. In 1960 he was in the council Westheim and the council voted Gunzenhausen (since 1972 council Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen), in 1963 he received the post of President of Raiffeisen District Association of Middle Franconia . Since 1965 he was a member of the regional synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria . Until 1965 he worked as deputy state chairman in rural youth work.

In 1977 Bachmann was appointed President of the Bavarian Raiffeisen Association , as well as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Advisory Board of Bayerische Raiffeisen-Zentralbank AG and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Advisory Board of BayWa AG. From 1977 he was also a member of the Presidium of the German Raiffeisen Association . From 1970 to 1982 he was a member of the Bavarian state parliament , after he was first elected on the CSU district list with 53,000 second votes. From 1984 to 1989 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .

Rudolf Bachmann was also chairman of the state control association in animal breeding Bavaria and chairman of the cattle breeding association of Middle Franconia.
