Rudolf Hirschberg

Rudolf Hirschberg ( pseudonyms : Rudolf Hirschberg-Jura , Rudolf Jura , B. Marinelli , Sebald Wendhus ; born December 31, 1867 in Meißen as Karl Rudolf Hirschberg ; † 1943 ) was a German writer .

Life

Rudolf Hirschberg was the son of the Mayor of Meissen , Karl Richard Hirschberg . After Rudolf Hirschberg had graduated from the Princely School St. Afra in Meißen , he studied law at the University of Leipzig from 1888 to 1892 , but did not pursue his legal career after passing the state examination . He attended the conservatory in Dresden and worked from 1893 to 1897 as an actor on various German stages, a. a. in Königsberg and Breslau . Then he tried his hand at reciting his own comic works on cabaret stages (including in Berlin'sÜberbrettl ”) and variety shows . Hirschberg lived temporarily in Strasbourg , where he married the actress Elisabeth Kramer. From 1902 he was based in Hanover and worked for daily newspapers . He later lived as a freelance writer in Munich and Leipzig .

In addition to his own cabaret texts, Rudolf Hirschbergs published a large number of novels and short stories .
