action

Daniel occasionally earns money renovating his apartments, and during this time he also lives on the construction sites. One day he lights a man at the train station and lends him a pen. When he comes to the construction site a little later and goes to sleep in the apartment, he does not notice that the man has followed him and is roaming around the apartment. Some time later Daniel returns to the apartment and the lights are on in various rooms. A note tells him that the clerk is in a certain room. Here Daniel finds the stalker naked and sleeping. He is outraged, especially since the awakened man points out that he loves Daniel. After a scuffle, Daniel throws the stranger out of the house.

Some time later, Daniel goes to a café. Here he meets his girlfriend Sonia, with whom he has been together for three years, but still has a changeable relationship. Sometimes he is distant, believes she is cheating on him and wants to part with her, then he reacts madly jealous when others show interest in her. She in turn cannot have people around her all the time and therefore does not want to move in with Daniel. She admits that the relationship with him is exhausting, but does not want to part with him, even if she is basically capable of it. Daniel, on the other hand, is attached to people he knows, even if, like his long-time friend Michel, they tend to burden him. Daniel also interferes in the life of completely strangers, speaks to everyone in the café in a distant and intrusive way, introduces strangers to each other and spreads Michel's problems in front of completely unknown people. Sonia, in turn, receives an unannounced visit from him in the evening, during which he sneaks into her apartment and thus scares her.

While Daniel spends the night with Sonia, the stalker ravages his construction site apartment. After his return, Daniel sees that the man lives in the house across the street and can therefore see directly into his apartment. He goes to the apartment and enters it without being asked. Here he not only finds furnishings, but also photos of him that the stranger simply took with him. The stalker, in turn, throws him out of his apartment. When the stranger rings the doorbell later and tries to break into the apartment, Daniel becomes aggressive, pushes the man to the ground on the street and kicks him. When he later sees him in his garage, he faces him and they both talk to each other. The stalker explains that meeting Daniel changed his life. He had become a new person and, among other things, has never been sick since then. Daniel accepts being together in the same room, but refuses any contact. Later he meets with Michel, who accuses him of reporting his problems to strangers. He accuses Daniel of always pretending to be interested in the opposite, but in reality not being there. Daniel is shocked by this accusation. He later talks to the stalker about his mother's death and his involvement in a retirement home, but it is now Daniel who accuses the stalker of actually having no interest in what he is telling. He believes that Sonia no longer loves him. He wants to part with her, also because he doesn't understand how she can love him at all. Although Sonia wants to continue to be with Daniel, she ends up separating from him on a trial basis, as they both need a break from each other. He goes alone to his construction site apartment. The stalker sees him from a distance, but does not follow him.
