Christel Merian

Christel Merian (born February 12, 1933 - † November 29, 2012 ; also Christel Noack-Merian ) was a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Christel Merian became known to the German-speaking audience primarily through her voice. As voice actress she has loaned these internationally known actresses such as Judi Dench ( Henry V. ), Louise Fletcher (including Heartless , High School High ), Kathleen Freeman ( Blues Brothers and Blues Brothers 2000 ), Julie Harris ( Acts of Love , When Love kills ) , Shirley Jones ( Skip and the Talking Animal Farm ) and Angie Dickinson ( diagnosis: murder ). She is particularly well-known as the voice actress in the role of Wilma Feuerstein in the animated series Flintstones , which she took over after the death of Inge Landgut and which she also dubbed in the real film from 1994 (actress: Elizabeth Perkins ). In the German dubbed version of the film Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clone Warriors , Merian lent her voice to the character Jocasta Nu .

Christel Merian also worked on radio play productions (including Benjamin Blümchen , Bibi Blocksberg , John Sinclair , ... and by the way, Liebe and Jan Tenner ).

In film and television, however, she was a rare guest. So she played several times in Günter Pfitzmann's entertainment series Berliner Weisse mit Schuß , alongside Thekla Carola Wied in the multi-part Everything that is Right , in Percy Adlon's drama Salmonberries , in the family series I marry a family and the comedy agent Gotcha! (with Anthony Edwards , Linda Fiorentino and Klaus Löwitsch ) and has made guest appearances in the television series Justitias Small Fish , Siebenstein , Wolffs Revier and In the Name of the Law .
