The Schanbach ruin is an abandoned castle near the Schanbach district of the Aichwald municipality in the Esslingen district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle complex, located 250 meters north of the town of Schanbach, about 14 by 23 meters in size, of which heaps of rubble and remains of the neck ditch can still be seen, was built in the 12th century, mentioned in 1262 and destroyed in 1525.
