The Ruta 45 (short RN 45 ) is a national road in the Región de Coquimbo in the small north of Chile. It is completely asphalted for 34.2 km. It connects the Ruta 5 (section of the Autopista del Elqui ) with Ovalle , the provincial capital of the Provincia del Limarí . The Ruta from Los Vilos or Santiago forms an entrance to this city from the south.

The official function of this Ruta was ratified in 2000 by Decree Nº 2136 by the MOP .
