The Ruta 44 ( RN 44 for short ) is a national road in the Región de Coquimbo in the small north of Chile. In its course of 2.5 km it is completely paved and lies entirely within the urban area. It connects Ruta 5 and the rest of the city of Coquimbo to the port, which is the most important in the region.
The official function of this Ruta was founded in 2009 by Decree Nº 47 by the MOP ratified.
