With leaflets and slogans on house facades, they tried to counter the Nazi propaganda . The daughter Karin was also active in the group. Through its network, the group also campaigned for people sentenced to death, including Helmuth James Graf von Moltke .

She committed suicide on September 17, 1977 . She was honored as Righteous Among the Nations by the Yad Vashem Memorial in 2002 . A memorial plaque is located in Berlin-Steglitz at Hünensteig 6.
