Çetinkaya Türk Spor Kulübü is a Cypriot Turkish football club from the northern Cypriot capital Nicosia . The club currently plays in the Kuzey Kıbrıs Süper Ligi , the top division of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus . The football club is one of the most successful in the country.

history

Lefkoşa Türk Spor Kulübü was founded in 1930 and is a founding member of the First Division in 1934. He is the only club in the league that is from Northern Cyprus (with seven Cypriot clubs: AEL Limassol , Trast AC , Olympiakos Nicosia , Aris Limassol , APOEL Nicosia , Anorthosis Famagusta and EPA Larnaka ).

The association merged with Çetinkaya Türk Asnaf Ocağı, founded in 1943, in 1949. This was followed by the name change to Çetinkaya Türk Spor Birliği . After the re-establishment of the Kıbrıs Türk Futbol Federasyonu , the association is a co-founder of the Birinci Lig . Çetinkaya TSK is the only team to have won both the Cypriot double ( championship and cup competition ) and the North Cypriot double. (As of 2014)
